　（English follows）以前、こちらのコラムでナポリのパンツ専業ブランド、マッシモ・コラードを紹介したが、そのトラウザーズが改めて素晴らしい。メゾンブランドのトラウザーズ部門にて最高責任者を長く務めた同名の氏がナポリ郊外のアヴェルサで始動したブランドで、マシンメイドで本格仕立てのパンタローニを手がけている。

 

　マッシモ氏は日本人の体型の研究を重ねてマスターパターンを開発。そのマスターパターンから、股上を深く、平尻補正をし、小股のもたつきを解消させたのが、ビームス別注のこちらだ。膝幅、裾幅も太くしており、スラッと脚が長くすっきり見え、穿いたときのシルエットが大変美しく色っぽい。

 

　2アウトプリーツのサイドアジャスター仕様で、クラシックの王道ディテール文句なし。ぜひ覚えておいてもらいたいブランドだ。

 

 

　In a previous column, we introduced the Neapolitan trouser specialist Massimo Corrado, and his trousers once again prove exceptional. Corrado, who long served as the head of the trousers division at a major maison, launched his eponymous brand in Aversa, a town just outside Naples, producing meticulously constructed machine-made trousers of a truly high standard. Corrado has developed a master pattern after extensive study of the Japanese physique. Building on this, the BEAMS exclusive model features a deeper rise, correction for a flatter seat, and a refined front that eliminates the common bunching at the upper thigh. The knee and hem are also cut slightly wider, giving the legs an elegant, elongated line and a beautifully fluid, subtly sensual silhouette. With two outward pleats and side adjusters, the trousers embody the classic Neapolitan vocabulary in full. It is a brand well worth remembering.

 

 

Massimo Corrado／マッシモ・コラード

2001年から2009年までメゾンブランドのパンタローニ部門の最高責任者を務めたのち、カゼルタ県アヴェルサにてコラード パンタローニ社を始動。イタリアやフランスの多くのメゾンの生産も請け負っている。Massimo Corrado served as head of the trousers division at a major maison from 2001 to 2009 before founding Corrado Pantaloni in Aversa, Caserta province. The company continues to produce for numerous Italian and French maisons.
