　（English follows）特殊な金属塗料を用いて独創的な世界を表現する「UNDULATION」。カスタムハーレーのビルダーとして知られる職人・クワイ華氏が、その精緻な手仕事と幼少期からの独自の美意識を礎に、2023年にスタートさせたアートブランドである。その翌年、香港で開催されたフィリップスのオークションでは、F50号（1167×910mm）の作品UNDULATION Dragon 金龍」が、事前予想の3倍以上となる107万9500香港ドル（約2159万円）でその日のオークションレコードを記録。一気に国内外のアート市場で大きな注目を集めた。

　Using specially developed metallic paints, UNDULATION creates an original world of form and emotion. Founded in 2023 by Hana Kuwai, a craftsman renowned for his work as a custom Harley-Davidson builder, the brand draws upon his precise handwork and a singular aesthetic sensibility nurtured since childhood. At a Phillips auction held in Hong Kong the following year, his F50-sized work UNDULATION Dragon Golden Dragon achieved HKD 1,079,500—more than triple its estimate—and recorded the day’s highest sale, drawing strong attention from collectors in Japan and abroad. While his large-scale pieces, in which the dynamism of the motif coexists with the stillness of metallic texture, demand harmony with their surrounding space, the Vessel collection offers smaller art pieces designed to live closer to everyday life.
